Emergencies

In the case of an emergency, call 999 (or 9 999 from a University phone).

The University's Security and Response Team is also available all hours to deal with security incidents and provide emergency support. Phone: +44 (0)1334 46 8999.

Meal times

Meals are served at the following times for those on a catered contract:

Monday to Friday

  • Breakfast: 8am to 9am
  • Lunch: 12.30pm to 1.30pm
  • Dinner: 5.45pm to 6.45pm

Saturday and Sunday

  • Breakfast: 8am to 9am
  • Lunch: 12 noon to 1pm

Facilities

  • Laundry: the laundry rooms are open from 9am to 10pm
  • Common Room, Library and Computer Room: open all the time
  • Mail: you can collect unregistered mail from the pigeon holes (opposite the Library) and parcels from the table outside the RSM office. For registered parcels, the residence team will send you an email when your parcel arrives with details for collection. Due to import duty and VAT, all personal parcels must be marked 'Personal'.
