Emergency services

For the police, the fire brigade or an ambulance: dial 999 from your mobile or 9 999 from a University phone, then inform the Duty Manager or the Duty Warden. NHS 24: call 111 from your mobile phone or dial 1045 from a University phone.

Security and Response team

In addition to the hall specific arrangements, the University Security and Response team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to deal with security incidents and provide emergency support. You can contact the security team on extension 8999 or by calling +44 (0)1334 46 8999.

Meal times

Meals are served at the following times for those on a catered contract:

Monday to Friday

Breakfast: 8am to 9am
Lunch: 12.30pm to 1.30pm
Dinner: 5.45pm to 6.45pm

Facilities

Laundry: the laundry rooms are open from 9am to 10pm
Common room: located in the main building, open all the time
