For maintenance and repair issues
Contact the Duty Manager either in person, by phone on extension 7000 or by email at agnes.blackadder@st-andrews.ac.uk.
During evenings or weekends, if the problem is urgent, contact the Duty Porter on extension 7227 (choose option 1: you don't need to wait until the end of the message, just press 1 and the call will connect) or the Duty Warden on extension 7019.
For personal matters
The Duty Warden can be contacted for a personal matter, noise complaint, an urgent repair to your room or building, or just for a chat:
- In the Wardens' Office on Mondays between 7.30pm and 8.30pm and all other days from 7pm to 8pm
- By phone on extension 7019 (+44 (0)1334 46 7019)
- By email at abhawteam@st-andrews.ac.uk
If it’s something urgent, the Duty Manager will be happy to help. Phone extension 7000 or email agnes.blackadder@st-andrews.ac.uk and they will contact the Warden on your behalf.
Security and Response team
In addition to the hall specific arrangements, the University Security and Response team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to deal with security incidents and provide emergency support.
You can contact the security team on extension 8999 or by calling +44 (0)1334 46 8999.
Emergency services
For the police, the fire brigade or an ambulance: dial 999 from your mobile or 9 999 from a University phone, then inform the Duty Manager or the Duty Warden.
NHS 24: call 111 from your mobile phone or dial 1045 from a University phone.
Meal times
If you are on a catered contract, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served Monday to Friday. Breakfast and lunch are served on Saturday and Sunday.
Monday to Friday

- Lunch: 12 noon to 1.30pm
- Dinner: 5.30pm to 7.00pm
Saturday and Sunday
- Breakfast: 8am to 10am
- Lunch: 12 noon to 1.30pm
